Rathmines Tai-Chi Club 
The Rathmines Tai Chi Club is dedicated to the development of Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Long Form. Practitioners of all ages experience how correct body structure and alignment allows access to the energies of Tai Chi. The 10 essences which are the golden rules for practice unite the body throughout the subtle changes of the Tai Chi Form.
Classes are taught by teachers who are registered with the U.K based Tai Chi Union. Enrolment for classes entitles the student to membership of the Rathmines Tai Chi Club. Advanced students also train in Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Sword. The Club is non-profit making with fees used to subsidise Masterclasses which are organised on a regular basis with Shelagh Grandpierre the principle teacher of the Nottingham based Tai Chi Alliance. Shelagh is the foremost European student of Christopher Pei, of the US Wushu Academy, himself a 5th generation holder of the Yang Family lineage The next session of beginners classes starts on Tuesday 14th September2004 at 7.15pm.(enrolment 7pm). The venue is the C.O.I. College of Education,196 Upr. Rathmines Rd.
